US city bans smelly people from public places
A US city has banned people with strong body odour from being in public.
That means that if you stink, you can't visit the park, library or city hall.
Burien city officials say the new law will protect people from bad smells, reported Mirror.
NY Daily News quoted city manager Kamuron Gurol as saying: "People will, unfortunately, have such a bodily odour that it’s very hard for others to be in that same space."
But that's not all. Leaders in the small city in Washington have also banned people from using obscene language and wearing too little clothing, reported NBC affiliate K5.
Those found guilty of breaking the rules can be banned from public spaces for up to a year.
