Want to stay in a suite housed in an old plane 15m above the ground?

When I get on a plane, my first thought often is: How long more till I can get off it?

So a stay at this luxurious suite in Costa Rica that is housed in a vintage 1965 Boeing 727 15m above the ground is not my cup of tea.

After 24 hours on a plane just to get there, I think I would rather not spend another hour in one.

A pity, considering the plane has undergone a major revamp - think interior wood panelling, hand-crafted teak furnishing and balconies on the wings. 

The Costa Verde suite even comes with a great view of the ocean and jungle.

The plane used to belong to the South Africa Air and Avianca Airlines, reported travel guide Luxos.

Prices range from US$250 to US$750 a day (S$315 to S$940).
