A group of Chelsea supporters have been caught on camera singing a racist song while shoving a passenger off a Paris metro train before Tuesday night's (Wednesday morning, Singapore time) Champions League round of 16 tie between Paris Saint-Germain and Chelsea at Parc des Princes.

Video footage shows the man trying to the enter the congested train only to be shoved out twice by a group of Chelsea supporters.

The fans were then heard singing: "We're racist, we're racist and that's the way we like it."

Since the video was uploaded, many slammed the despicable act.

Chelsea released a statement on Tuesday night, saying: "Such behaviour is abhorrent and has no place in football or society.

"We will support any criminal action against those involved, and should evidence point to involvement of Chelsea season-ticket holders or members the club will take the strongest possible action against them, including banning orders."

Wednesday's incident could prompt Uefa to take disciplinary action which could result in the London club facing a fine and a warning, The Guardian reported.
