WATCH: Groom dumps bride after she disguises herself as old woman
There was no happily ever after for this couple in China.
In fact, they didn't even make it to the altar to exchange their "I dos".
The groom dumped his fiancée after she showed up at their pre-wedding photo shoot looking almost 50 years older.
The 26-year-old bride had arrived at Dongmen Old Street in Shenzhen with make-up that made her look like an old woman - complete with grey streaks in her hair.
A heated argument then broke out between the couple, as onlookers gathered.
Will you love me when I'm 70?
The girl asked her boyfriend if he would love her even when she was 70 years old. If so, she said, he would not mind taking the photos with her dressed accordingly.
Witnesses say the groom demanded his girlfriend remove the makeup.
When she refused, he yelled and hurled his glasses onto the ground before leaving his bride crying inconsolably in the street.
The woman deliberately applied the makeup to see whether her boyfriend would still be devoted to her when she grew old, she said.
