WATCH: Rescued baby otter learns how to be an otter
This article is more than 12 months old
This could be the cutest thing you'll watch all week.
A week-old sea otter was found crying on a beach in California last month.
The orphaned female pup was taken to Monterey Bay Aquarium where it received medical attention.
It had been separated from its mother for at least 16 hours and was in critical condition.
Aquarium staff spent weeks nursing it back to health.
The pup, named Pup 681, now weighs slightly under 3kg and is in good shape.
For the time being, it will be kept away from other otters in the aquarium and be taught how to groom, forage, and care for itself.
