WATCH research team find forgotten reservoir in S'pore

They were simply researching the island's history.
While studying old maps, a group of National Heritage Board (NHB) researchers stumbled upon a "forgotten reservoir" tucked off Telok Blangah Road.

But it was later abandoned, the NHB website said, and vanished from contemporary maps of Singapore in the 1980s — until now.
Subsequently, maps dating to the Japanese Occupation marked the water body as a swimming pool, Today reported.
