Why did someone in the US call the cops over this stuffed tiger?
Make no mistake - the stuffed tiger in the picture you see above caused someone in the United States to call the police.
Yep, it's definitely a cute, plush version of the big cat, but one woman in Bryant, Arkansas didn't know that when she saw it lying face down by the road side.
She thought she was seeing a carcass of the real deal, so she called the police.
To be fair, it really does look like a dead tiger when you can't see its face.
According to the Bryant Police Department, the woman said she was too scared to go near the animal's "carcass" even though she had the courage to take photos of the "grisly" scene.
That's right, leave it to the professionals but don't forget to do the most important thing - whip out your camera phone.
Anyway, a police officer was dispatched to the scene to investigate.
When he found out that it was not really the real one, he put it in his patrol car and took it back to the precinct - presumably so no one else will call the cops about a dead tiger.
If the Bryant police department is planning to put the stuffed animal up for adoption, I wouldn't mind taking him and calling him Hobbes...
