A 61-year-old woman escaped unhurt when the vehicle she was travelling in crashed into the convenience store of a petrol station in Petaling Jaya on Tuesday (Feb 3).

The driver had just refuelled her Proton Wira at about 9.30am when she rammed her car into the mart.

Petaling Jaya Assistant Commissioner Azmi Abu Kassim said investigations revealed that the woman had intended to reverse her car.

He told The Star: “But she accidentally put the car in drive.”
