Woman injures another with durian shell

Two neighbours got into a argument over a misunderstanding between their daughters, and left one of them in hospital after a durian shell was flung at her face.

The two women are neighbours in Penang. There had apparently been a misunderstanding between their daughters and one of them had gone over to her 47-year-old neighbour's flat to ask about it, the Harian Metro reported.

The argument got so heated, other residents who witnessed the quarrel said there were raised voices, hair pulling and punches before one of the women threw a durian shell at the other.

The fight, which happened last Wednesday, was broken up by other residents and the woman who had the durian flung at her face was rushed to hospital for treatment.
