Woman sets man on fire in Malaysia
It was a horrific sight: A woman torching a man at a construction site.
An Indonesian woman confronted a Bangladeshi construction worker at his work site in Bukit Mertajam, Penang yesterday morning (Feb 4).
The Star Online reported that the incident happened at about 7.50am.
The worker in his 30s was on a motorbike with his compatriot when he was attacked.
According to the Seberang Perai Tengah police chief ACP Rusli Mohd Noor, the women splashed him with a substance believed to be petrol.
She then lit a piece of cloth and threw it in the direction of the two men.
Torched
While his friend was able to flee from the scene, he was, unfortunately, unable to.
According to ACP Rusli, witnesses at the scene rushed to his aid.
They also managed to apprehend the woman before handing her over to the police.
The victim was then rushed to the Bukit Mertajam Hospital where he is currently in a stable condition.
