Woman tweets about giving birth as it happens
Giving birth is a private moment.
The sacredness of bringing in a new life aside, the delivery is painful with hours spend in labour.
So why would anyone want to broadcast it?
At least that's what we thought until people started sharing it on social media.
Mrs Lyndsey Thomas, 34, tweeted about her delivery last month while at a London hospital, reported Mail Online.
She gave regular updates of the delivery.
We're not quite sure what to feel about that yet, but we're definitely not keen on catching the new reality show Born In The Wild.
The show by Lifetime will feature mothers giving birth while surrounded by nature. (Trees, leaves, lakes, creeks, whatever.) Wait, what? No hospitals, no sterile environments, nothing.
It gets weirder. There won't be any doctors on hand to help them if things go wrong, reported Mail Online.
The show was apparently inspired by an explicit YouTube video which went viral last year. It shows a woman giving birth at a creek bed, reported Salon.
Sorry, Lifetime, but we'll pass on this one.
