Father drags son, 10, around by rope to punish him for not studying
A father tied a rope around his 10-year-old son's neck and dragged him around to punish the boy for not studying.
The incident, which happened on Sunday (May 24) afternoon in China's Zhejiang province, was caught on camera.
In the video, the boy is seen crying and screaming as he is forcefully pulled out of a vehicle and dragged about 100m.
The father can be heard shouting: "Might as well raise you like a dog."
He later told reporters at a police station that his son is very naughty and disobedient, and refuses to study.
The man, who works as a truck driver, said the boy went out to play yet again on Sunday morning and that in a fit of anger, he took to dragging the boy around by rope.
He admitted that his method of punishment was inappropriate.
It is not known if there will be any charges against him.
The boy suffered some superficial injuries on his hands.
