Housewife allegedly killed daughter, 3, for refusing to sleep

Nor Nazierah Rahmat, 26, was charged on Friday (July 24) with the child’s murder.
The housewife is accused of killing the girl in a fit of rage some time between July 17 and July 18 at her home in Balakong, Kajang in the Malaysian state of Selangor.
The mother-of-two nodded to show she understood the charge when it was read to her at a magistrate’s court. No plea was recorded.
She was seen crying in the dock.
None of her family members were present.
If found guilty, she faces the mandatory death sentence.
