Man disfigures ex-wife after she refuses to have sex with him
A Malaysian man allegedly splashed acid on his ex-wife after she refused to have sex with him, China Press reported.
The 28-year-old woman suffered burns on her face and body, and may lose her sight.
Her relatives rushed her to hospital after the incident on Wednesday (July 8) at 5am in Kuching, the capital of Sarawak.
They said the ex-husband often visited the woman to harass her even though the pair had divorced several years ago.
The woman lives alone with their six-year-old son.
The man is believed to have barged into her house and demanded to have sex.
When she refused, the enraged man allegedly took out a bottle and splashed its contents on her face.
Police have mounted a manhunt for the suspect.
