Tiger's new affair allegation denied
Rumours of another affair are looming over golf legend Tiger Woods.
Woods' string of affairs shook the sports world in 2009.
The revelations led to his divorce from Elin Nordegren in 2010 in which she was awarded a US$110 million settlement.
After a period of penitence, it seemed that Woods had put all such impropriety behind him.
But now fresh allegations are circulating.
Woods, 39, has been accused of having an affair with fellow golf pro Jason Dufner's wife before Dufner and his wife got divorced in April.
Dufner and his ex-wife Amanda Boyd, 27 (pictured below) had cited "a complete incompatibility of temperament" as a reason for their divorce.
US tabloid The National Enquirer claimed "sources" revealed that Woods and Ms Boyd had a fling because he had always "had a thing" for her.
It was the Enquirer that first broke details of Woods' affairs in 2009.
But for this new accusation, Woods' agent was vociferous in denial.
Fox News reported Mark Steinberg said in an e-mail that the Enquirer report was: "Absolutely 100 percent false".
Steinberg underlined his statement describing the report as a "complete lie and fabrication".
Woods had been dating American Wold Cup alpine ski racer Lindsey Vonn for two years. They split up in May.
The Enquirer report alleges that Woods and Ms Boyd got together in February which led to the break up with their respective partners soon after.
This latest "scandal" comes at a bad time for Woods as he is attempts to recapture his form in time for the Open at St Andrews in Scotland in two weeks time.
