WATCH: Knife-wielding men rob M'sia eatery
Instead of shutting at midnight, a restaurant owner in Selangor, Malaysia, decided he would extend opening hours till 4am from this month.
Other business owners advised him against it.
It wasn't safe, they told the staff..
Restaurant staff Jack Lee, 35, said:
"Other shops warned us, saying that it was dangerous to open until so late."
But the owner ignored them.
The warnings came true on Sunday (July 26) when a group of parang-wielding men attacked the eatery in Subang Jaya, Star Online reported.

"Around two to three men got out of the car and robbed the restaurant of RM2,000 (S$716.55) cash and drove off."
