Is this the dumbest thing any wanted person has done?
When Mark Zuckerberg came up with the idea of Facebook, he probably did not intend for it to help police in nabbing wanted suspects.
The social networking site did just that last Friday (April 24), all thanks to an incredibly stupid move by the wanted man.
Levi Charles Reardon, who was wanted for felony and forgery, "liked" his own wanted post on Facebook which was uploaded by Great Falls/Cascade County Crimestoppers, a non-profit organisation that aims to reduce crime.
Talk about being a show-off.
According to the Great Fall Tribune, police records state that Reardon was arrested without incident on Friday evening.
He was wanted in Montana in the US for the theft of a wallet and personal cheques.
And it seems the organisation that put up his wanted post has wasted no time in showing its gratitude.
It's only natural to be grateful to someone who does your job for you.
