Rotting body found in KL, 7 arrested
Police in Kuala Lumpur have arrested five men and two women over the murder of a former gangster whose decomposed body was found with six gunshot wounds and his fingertips removed.
City police chief Amar Singh said they arrested six suspects following raids at Cheras on Sunday, reported The Star.
"The seventh suspect, a man, was arrested after he surrendered at the Dengkil police station on Tuesday," he added.
"We were alerted to the murder after discovering a decomposed body wrapped in a blanket and curtains at the back of a Toyota Hilux on Jalan Serai Wangi."
The victim was identified as a 48-year-old man.
"The male suspects and the victim are all former gangsters," said Mr Singh.
