Yee-haw! Driver doesn't recall how accident lands him in a field of donkeys
If you don't want to wake up in a field of donkeys, don't drink and drive.
A man from New Mexico found out the hard way. After a night out carousing with his friend, they got into a car accident.
The next thing the pair knew, they had woken up in pain, with some unexpected company. That's right, they were surrounded by donkeys.
What happened in between remains a mystery as both men have no recollection of what happened.
The driver called the New Mexico State Police to say he was lost and surrounded by animals seven hours after investigators could not find anybody near the crash site on Friday.
Both men suffered shoulder, hand and back injuries.
The driver was issued multiple citations, but the charges have not been released.
