'You betrayed me!': Woman throws man out with bolster, pillow

A video clip of a dramatic dispute between a couple has caught the attention of netizens.

In the clip uploaded on TikTok on May 19, a woman standing at the stairwell of an HDB block is heard shouting at a man standing at the ground floor. She accuses him of cheating in a tirade a commenter described as "so loud, it can be heard in Batam".

"Office people call each other baby. What is that?" she yells.

The man tries to hush her, but she fires back, "You scared people hear ah? You betrayed me!"

He tries to explain himself: "She calls everyone baby, everyone!"

But the woman isn't buying it. "She calls everyone baby? You sure?"

The woman throws a pillow and a bolster over the railing, shouting, "Get lost from my sight! I don't want to see you tonight!"

The man says "siao cha bor" (Hokkien for crazy woman) before picking up the bolster and pillow. He loads the items into a GetGo car.

The TikToker who shared the clip wrote: "Marry wrong wife is finished… quarrel everyone knows…"

Others were quick to weigh in with strong opinions.

"It's not marry wrong wife, it's marry wrong husband," one commenter said.

Another wrote, "He calls someone else baby and we expect the wife to be calm? Come on."

There were TikTokers who took a more jaded view.

"Don't get married. Listen to uncle. Stay single, keep yourself busy. Don't get yourself into girl issue - messy, complicated," advised one of them.

And in a surprisingly wholesome take, someone wrote: "At least she still had the heart to give him a pillow and bolster."

Of course, there were sceptics who wondered if it was a stunt to promote GetGo cars.
