Venga handed 3-match man

Balestier Khalsa Prime League team manager R Vengadasalam has been handed a three-match suspension in the Prime League after he was found guilty of bringing the game into disrepute by the Football Association of Singapore disciplinary committee last night.

He was also given a $2,000 suspended fine which will be effective should he be charged again by the disciplinary committee before Dec 31 this year.

Venga had been hauled up for verbally abusing Warriors FC coach Alex Weaver around the technical area during a Prime League match on April 19 between the sides.
