Kelong alert! Does goalkeeper's bizarre disallowed own goal mean Scotland-Nigeria friendly was fixed?
Nigeria might have started their preparations for the World Cup by grinding out a 2-2 draw with Scotland at Craven Cottage.
But the tie which was already under investigation for match-fixing before it began, was marred by a bizarre incident involving Nigeria's goalkeeper Austin Ejide.
Somewhere around the half-hour mark, Ejide, who plays for Israeli club Hapoel Be'er Sheva, rose to challenge Grant Hanley for a high ball, but somehow contrived to palm the ball into the back of the net.
Watch the GIF and keep an eye out for that fishy flick of the wrist...
Referee Lee Probert disallowed the goal, although the Super Eagles managed to concede another own goal later on.
Scotland took the lead in the 10th minute through a Charlie Mulgrew goal that looks like a work of genius or a sheer fluke. You decide.
To be fair to Mulgrew - who will probably say that he meant it - he knew it was coming and managed the perfect contact to steer the ball into the top corner.
The Africans equalised just before the break through Michael Uchebo on 41 minutes, but they were behind again nine minutes after the break when Azubuike Egwuekwe turned the ball into his own net in the 54th minute.
There was to be one more late twist in the game as Uche Nwofor's 89th-minute strike spared the World Cup-bound Nigerians their blushes.
Of course, if any wrongdoing is determined from this game, blushes are going to be last thing Nigeria will have to worry about.
