Gaza kid dons garbage bag-jacket pretending to be journalist
This image of a Gaza kid has taken cyberspace by storm after a Swedish radio correspondent posted a picture of the boy pretending to be a journalist.
Johan-Matthias Sommarstrom bumped into the boy on Thursday just outside his hotel - where many journalists are based - when the Palestinian boy said: "I am a journalist...I am reporting on what is happening here, this is my flak jacket".
The picture shows the kid dressed-up as a journalist, wearing a TV helmet, and a "flak jacket" - a distinguishing look for the media.
The difference? The little boy's flak jacket was made from a garbage bag and the helmet borrowed from Mr Sommarstrom.
The correspondent said: "For me the picture is a powerful example of children's strong will to survive. He has seen us journalists go in and out of the hotel, he has seen that we survive.
"I think that in his pretending play he wants to be like us, someone who survives."
The tweet went viral just five hours after it was posted and was shared over 3,500 times.
Mr Sommarström added: "For a moment he shone with pride. His friends were laughing happily and dancing around him. He got a little embarrassed and then I took the picture."
