Body parts found in bags along M'sia expressway
Road maintenance workers in Malaysia made a grisly discovery while conducting their usual rounds along the North-South Expressway this week.
While on the KM21 heading south, they stumbled across plastic bags that were giving off a foul smell. A worker opened one of the bags and found a severed head and other body parts in it.
Police received a call about the body at around noon.
The Star quoted Kulaijaya OCPD Supt Ruslan Khaled as saying: "We have yet to identify the victim.
“We believe that he was murdered about a day or two days ago," he said. ”We have formed a special task force to identify the suspect or suspects behind the incident."
The victim is a man between the ages of 30 and 40. He had stab wounds on the back of his body and neck. He was killed at a separate location before being dumped by the expressway.
Johor police are appealing for anyone with information about the incident to call their hotline.
