CNB nab three after $40,000 worth of drugs found hidden in laptop
Three Singaporean men were arrested by the Central Narcotics Bureau (CNB) on Friday (Sept 5) after police found methamphetamine, or ice, and ecstasy pills hidden in a laptop.
Two of the suspected drug offenders, aged 23 and 25, were stopped during a routine check early on the morning of Sept 5, while travelling into Singapore by motorcycle through the Woodlands Checkpoint.
A further check revealed about 256g of ice and 50 escstasy pills hidden in the 25-year-old's laptop.
At about 6.05am, CNB officers arrested a 33-year-old Singaporean man, believed to be a drug client of the 25-year-old, in the Woodlands vicinity.
All three are being investigated for drug importation.
