WATCH: Plane hits bridge & crashes into river in Taiwan, dozens dead
UPDATE (MIDNIGHT): Dozens feared dead after the TransAsia Airways airplane crashed into a river in Taiwan.
Reports said at least 22 people were killed.

UPDATE (4.50pm): At least 11 people are believed to have died after the TransAsia Airways airplane crashed into a river in Taiwan reported Reuters.
The number of missing is currently at 19.
Miraculously, 28 passengers appeared to have escaped from the crash unhurt.
UPDATE (2.20PM): BBC news reported at least eight have died in the TransAsia Airways plane crash this morning.
The ATR-72 had just taken off from Taipei Songshan Airport and was headed to the outlying Kinmen islands, just off the coast of south-east China.
Flight controllers lost contact with the plane at 10:55 local time (02:55 GMT).
Footage of the plane apparently filmed from inside passing cars showed it banking sharply, hitting a taxi and clipping the bridge before crashing into the river.
Out of the 58 people on board 53 are believed to be passengers and five are crew.
BBC News reported that 31 of the passengers are tourists from mainland China.

12.30PM: A TransAsia Airways plane crash-landed in Keelung River in Taipei, capital of Taiwan, today (Feb 4).
Local television reports said more than 10 people were injured.
Initial cable reports said there were over 50 people onboard.
Pictures on social media show a partially submerged plane, sticking belly-up, in a river.
Television footage also showed some people - including a woman with blood pouring down her nose - clustered around the plane.
Online Taiwanese news site and the national Central News Agencysaid that the plane had just taken off from Taipei Songshan Airport.
It was bound for Kinmen Airport, just off the coast of southeastern China.
