S'pore swimmers continue golden harvest
Singapore won four golds on the penultimate day of the six-day swimming competition on Wednesday night (June 10).
Joseph Schooling won golds in the men's 50m fly (23.49, new Games record) and the 200m IM (2:00.66, new Games record) to bring his personal gold tally at this Games to eight.

Roanne Ho clocked a new Games record of 31.45s to win the women’s 50m breaststroke — Singapore’s first breaststroke gold since 2007.
She was also part of the women's 4x100m medley relay team that claimed gold in 4:08.72.
Also, Quah Zheng Wen won silver in the men's 200m IM and bronze in the 50m fly.
Singapore remain the top swimming nation in the Games with 19 golds after five days of competition, and could overtake the all-time best of 21, set at home in 1973.
The final day of the competition is on Thursday (June 11).
