Tolisso, Rafinha out for Bayern
Bayern Munich midfielder Corentin Tolisso will be out for months after hurting his knee in Saturday's 3-1 victory over Bayer Leverkusen, the German champions said yesterday.
The 24-year-old, who was in France's World Cup-winning squad, tore his cruciate ligament and meniscus in his right knee after equalising for Bayern and will need surgery.
Bayern will also be without defender Rafinha for several weeks after the Brazilian partially tore a ligament in his left ankle in the same game.
The Bavarian side, who already have winger Kingsley Coman in the treatment room, kick off their Champions League campaign against Benfica in Lisbon on Thursday morning (Singapore time). - REUTERS
