The 5 most ridiculous sporting moments in 2015
New Year's – it's a time for reflection, a time for resolutions.
Sports might have had an interesting 2015, but there were some ludicrous moments to go along with highs.
As the year comes to a close, let's hope we don't see repeats of these five major fails (we probably will though).
You've got to feel for Leonardo Koutris, who was playing for Ergotelis in the Greek second division against AE Larissa in October.
Not only did his side lose, Koutris suffered an injury and had to be taken off the pitch by these two clowns, who clearly don't have much when it comes to bedside manners.
2. SPLASH BROS
By all accounts, the South-east Asia Games that was held here in June was a major success.
Filipino divers John Elmerson Fabriga and John David Pahoyo? Not so much.
Footage of their utterly disastrous dives, which earned them big fat zeroes from judges, went viral on the Internet and found its way onto US comedian Jimmy Kimmel's talk show.
Perhaps Fabriga and Pahoyo could look to football for inspiration.
After all, Real Madrid captain Sergio Ramos executed a perfect demonstration during his side's Champions League clash against Shakhtar Donetsk in September.
Unsurprisingly, the Internet erupted with ridicule and experimented wish a dozen and one ways to make Ramos' dive look even funnier on social media.
Singapore might pride itself on being extremely safe and secure, but lapses occur every so often.
Like when a drunk guy decided to take a walk on the Formula 1 race track – while an actual race was going on.
If you're going to be a cocky fighter, make sure you have the moves to back up your swagger and put up a decent fight.
Otherwise, you're just begging to be humiliated, like MMA fighter Jason Solomon – all in the space of nine seconds.
