Salim gets three Singapore race days
Apprentice Y Salim has been suspended three SIngapore race days for weighing 1kg over the declared weight on CONDANDO in Race 2 on Oct 2.
On Oct 19, the stewards concluded an Inquiry into a report from the clerk of scales that Salim returned to scale 1kg over the declared weight that he weighed out for the race.
Salim pleaded guilty to the charge, but there was no evidence to suggest that he had or attempted to deceive the clerk of scales when weighing.
Salim had admitted consuming fluids after he weighed out for the race and that this might have contributed to him returning overweight.
His suspension was from yesterday to Nov 6.
