WATCH: Cocky MMA fighter gets knocked out in 9 seconds
In the wake of Ronda Rousey's defeat, other shocking MMA defeats have been going viral.
One such vid has surfaced from September's Super Fight League SFL43 event in Delhi and it is possibly the perfect lesson in pride coming before a fall.
MMA fighter Jason Solomon looked the real deal outside of the ring.
He made sure he had the whole works.
It was perhaps the cockiest walk pre-bout routine ever.
A total of 2 minutes and 47 seconds before the referee brings the fighters to the centre to touch gloves.
Backed by a soundtrack of Solomon's own rap track, it had the girls, the time taken to hug each of his entourage.
The strut, the entourage holding banners bearing his name, the finger-pointing and so on.
Once he finally got into the octagon, he even attempted to intimidate his opponent Amitesh Chaubey (who had apparently been patiently waiting).
It was also the perfect recipe for disaster because Solomon lasted a grand total of nine seconds.
Chaubey threw one punch and Solomon was down.
Not that the defeat has changed his attitude.
On his Facebook page, a number of people have posted the video of Solomon's defeat — increasingly so in recent weeks.
Aside from some comment about Chaubey getting a lucky punch in he has this message.
Solomon says he is determined to go further and become the next SFL
