Balotelli screws up again - this time on his hometown

Mario Balotelli is not new to embarrassing screw-ups.

But this may just take the cake.

The AC Milan striker was back in the place of his birth, Palermo, for a midweek game when he decided to show off his roots by posting a photo on Instagram.

"I love the city where I was born!!! Palermo!" he wrote.

Alas, it was a photo of Cefalu - a town some 80km away from Palermo.

When someone pointed out that he had got it wrong, Balotelli added the words "It's still a photo of Sicily" - in brackets - next to his original caption.

Of course, Balotelli, who is on loan from Liverpool, doesn't get anything wrong, does he?
