A brilliant footballer, an excellent author, but unfortunately, not so much of an narrator

By now, you might have already known that Frank Lampard is an author of children’s books.

When he published the eighth book in his Frankie’s Magic Football series, he said that he gets “a lot of enjoyment” out of writing books for children.

We have no problems with him writing books, really.

However, it’s him reading it that might be an issue. If only his oratorical skill is as refined as his shooting prowess.

His monotony gives him a unique ability to make a lively tale sound like a eulogy, and that is really quite  something.

And since he recently released the newest edition of “Frankie’s Magic Football”, this is a good chance for us to show you his wonderful reading skills.
