Chicharito closing on Real loan switch
Real Madrid are set to land Javier Hernandez on season-long loan from Manchester United with a view to a permanent deal.
The Mexican striker was photographed at the Sanitas La Moraleja hospital in Madrid, where the reigning European champions conduct medicals for their players.
While Hernandez has 59 goals in 154 appearances since moving to Old Trafford from FC Guadalajara in 2010, the 26-year-old has been firmly behind Robin van Persie and Wayne Rooney on the Red Devils' pecking order.
After missing out on United-bound Radamel Falcao, Real boss Carlo Ancelotti has turned to the nippy forward nicknamed Chicharito to provide competition for Karim Benzema.
According to Marca, Hernandez will be handed the No. 14 shirt, the same number he wore at United.
