Fan wants to sell house to keep standout goalie Ochoa in French side

Mexican keeper Guillermo Ochoa made some stunning saves at the World Cup.

And clubs have been lining up to get his signature ever since.

But a fan of his former club AC Ajaccio is prepared to give up most of his worldly possessions to keep him at the French Ligue 2 side.

An advertisement placed on Le Bon Coin, a French website similar to eBay, said the fan will sell his house and everything in it, including his family, for a "good cause", reported New York Daily News.

The fan is hoping to raise about €10 million (S$17 million) from the sale - more than enough to give Ochoa a pay rise on his current €37,500-a-week wages, said Metro.

Mexico lost to the Netherlands in the round of 16.
