Gongfu kick floors Venezuelan player during interview

It is common for football players to get tackled or kicked during a game, but what’s not common is to be kicked in the back during an interview.

Carabobo had just ousted Aragua from a Venezuelan cup competition and striker Aquiles Ocanto was giving an interview to a TV reporter on the pitch, when he was blindsided by a fan with a vicious gungfu kick, which sent him flying past the camera.

Thankfully, the Venezuelan striker was not injured.

“Aquiles Ocanto is well and has not sustained any injury. We reject such acts of violence in football,” tweeted his club.
