Liverpool unveil new kit - but will Sterling be in it next season?
Liverpool have unveiled their home kit for the 2015/16 season.
Featuring New Balance as kit sponsor for the first time, the new shirt was revealed at Anfield in front of more than 1,000 supporters, according to the club's official website.
The US company assumed the sponsorship of Liverpool's iconic red shirt from subsidiary brand Warrior in a club record deal that was announced in February.
The Reds will certainly be hoping the simple yet elegant gingham design will inspire the club to greater heights next season.
Several Liverpool players were called upon to model the new kit, including forward Raheem Sterling.
The 20-year-old, who has been under fire from Liverpool fans for stalling on signing a new contract, was heckled during the presentation.
While Sterling received cheers when he made his appearance, one disgruntled fan interrupted his interview on the kit, shouting: "Make sure we see you in it next year."
Speaking to the BBC despite not having club approval, the England international stated that he was driven by ambition rather than money, causing several top clubs to take interest in his situation.
