Lukaku heading to Everton: reports
Everton are finally set to land Chelsea striker Romelu Lukaku for a £25 million ($52.6m) fee, according to reports in the UK.
Roberto Martinez has been pursuing the burly Belgian after his impressive loan spell at Goodison Park last season.
Despite outperforming other Chelsea forwards during his previous loan spells, Jose Mourinho does not trust Lukaku to lead the line at Stamford Bridge. The Blues manager has decided to cash in on the former Anderlecht player after securing the services of Spain hitman Diego Costa from Atletico Madrid.
The 21-year-old is believed to be flying from Belgium to England to seal the deal after he posted a photo on social media of him aboard a plane along with a cryptic message saying it is "time to write a new chapter".
The news will certainly be greeted with enthusiasm by Everton fans after Lukaku scored 15 goals for their team last season.
