Man Utd and Liverpool masters to do battle at the National Stadium
Manchester United and Liverpool will bring their legendary rivalry to Kallang when their Masters teams clash at the National Stadium in November.
Cult favourite Luis Garcia will be making his debut for the Liverpool Masters side while 1999 treble winners Andy Cole and Ronny Johnsen will be among the names turning out for the Red Devils.
The match, dubbed The Castlewood Group Battle of the Reds 2015, is sponsored by the Castlewood Group and will be played on Nov 14 - a Saturday - with tickets going from $19.
Former United left winger Lee Sharpe, who will also play in the match, said: "There’s always pressure against Liverpool. We don’t like losing to Liverpool and they don’t like losing to us.
"They got the better of us the last few times we played them and I don’t know if revenge is the right word but we certainly owe them one, that’s for sure."
