Porto land Dutch starlet Martins Indi
Porto have clinched the signature of Dutch starlet Bruno Martins Indi from Feyenoord for 7.7 million euros ($12.9m).
The central defender was a regular starter under Louis van Gaal at the World Cup as Holland went on to clinch third place.
Despite rumours suggesting that he might be reunited with the new manager of Manchester United, Martins Indi has now secured a move to the Portuguese giants on a four-year contract.
Speaking to Feyenoord's official website, the 22-year-old said: "It feels the right moment to leave.
"I have played more than 100 games for Feyenoord and now have a World Cup behind my name.
"I always said that if I made the next move in my career it must benefit both me and the club. My departure is a good financial deal for Feyenoord while I get a new challenge in Portugal."
Martins Indi will be joined at the Estadio do Drago by reported Liverpool target Cristian Tello, who will spend the next two years at Porto on loan from Barcelona.
