Rooney dropped... by his son
The international break hasn’t been kind to England striker Wayne Rooney.
Forced out of the friendlies against Germany and Holland because of an injury, his position as an automatic starter under manager Roy Hodgson is now in doubt following impressive performances by his fellow strikers Jamie Vardy and Harry Kane.
And it seems he can’t find much comfort from home, too.
His son, Kai, had asked him for an England jersey — with Vardy’s name at the back.
Former England and Arsenal striker Ian Wright found it absolutely hilarious when he broke the news on TV.
