So long, Frank! Relive five of Lampard's greatest goals in Chelsea shirt
For the last 13 years, the faithful at Stamford Bridge have been used to the sight of Frank Lampard scoring stupendous goals.
After all, the England midfielder is the club's top scorer, with 211 goals in 649 appearances.
He will proudly wear the captain's armband England against Ecuador in a pre World Cup friendly.
Lampard is set to leave Stamford Bridge in the summer, but the 35-year-old will remain a fan favourite for years to come.
Here are five of his best goals.
1) Bayern Munich, Stamford Bridge, April 6, 2005
Lampard scored the second and third goals in Chelsea's 4-2 first-leg quarter-final defeat of Bayern Munich in the Champions League.
But it is the second of his brace that will always be remembered.
Taking a Claude Makelele pass on the chest, Lampard showed fantastic technique to swerve and volley the ball past Oliver Kahn with his left foot.
2) Barcelona, Nou Camp, Oct 31, 2006
It was a bad initial touch, but Lampard showed with this goal how he can turn a bad situation into a winning one.
Despite being forced wide, the midfielder turned and scooped the ball over Victor Valdes from an impossible angle, helping Chelsea earn a 2-2 draw in the process.
3) Watford, Stamford Bridge, Jan 3, 2010
Probably not the most important goal considering it was Chelsea's fourth in a 5-0 rout of Watford, but this long ranger will go down as one of his best at the Bridge.
4) Hull City, KC Stadium, Oct 29, 2008
One of the best goals seen by Brazil coach Luiz Felipe Scolari (as said by Big Phil himself), Lamps showed off more of his technical ability with this delicate chip from the edge of a crowded penalty box to open the scoring.
5) Aston Villa, Villa Park, May 11, 2013
Probably not the most spectacular, but this goal confirmed Lampard's elevation to legendary status.
After equalling Bobby Tambling's record of 202 goals with the equaliser in the 61st minute, Lampard started and finished this neat move to surpass Tambling as the club's the all-time top scorer.
