Swedish hotel names suite after Zlatan Ibrahimovic
You know you are loved when a hotel from your hometown has a suite named after you in place of a presidential suite.
For 960 euros ($1,390) a night, you can stay at the Zlatan Suite, which is named after 33-year-old Sweden striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic.
Located on the 23rd floor of the new Clarion Hotel situated in Malmo’s city centre, the 1,076-square-feet suite’s walls will be adorned with the player’s portraits.
Ibrahimovic began his career at Malmo, before going on to play for Europe’s top sides such as Ajax Amsterdam, AC Milan, Barcelona and now, Paris Saint-Germain.
Hotel representative Lotta Pieplow told Swedish paper Sydsvenskan: “There is only one president in Malmo. And it’s Zlatan Ibrahimovic.
“We have received his approval. Of course, we hope Zlatan will be one of our guests.”
