Thailand take 2-0 first-leg lead

Striker Teerasil Dangda starred for defending champions Thailand in the first leg of the Suzuki Cup at the Thuwunna Stadium in Yangon yesterday, scoring both goals in a 2-0 win over Myanmar.

Teerasil broke the deadlock in the 23rd minute before he doubled his team's lead 10 minutes into the second half.

The second leg will be played in Bangkok, Thailand, on Thursday.
