Wes Brown: Anderson is the least intelligent player I've played with
Poor Anderson can't seem to get a break.
Already an outcast at Manchester United and unable to get a game under Louis van Gaal, the Brazilian, 26, who was once dubbed the next Ronaldinho now finds himself being branded with an unflattering title by former teammate Wes Brown.
The defender, now with Sunderland, labelled Anderson as the least intelligent player he had played with during an interview posted on the Black Cats' YouTube channel.
Brown, 35, said: "I'm not going to say anyone here (at Sunderland), because that could get back.
"I'll go with Anderson, because he's been there for five or six years and honestly, he still doesn't speak any English."
Ouch.
For the record, the former Gremio star is in his seventh - and probably final - year at United after joining them from Porto in 2007.
You can watch the full clip below, with the bit on Anderson starting from the 1:40 mark.
