Wilshere fit to face Galatasaray
Jack Wilshere has recovered sufficiently from a north London derby injury scare to be included in Arsenal's squad that will face Galatasaray in the Champions League on Thursday morning (Singapore time).
The England midfielder was a doubt for the Group D clash after twisting his ankle during his side's English Premier League match against Tottenham on Sunday morning.
But the 22-year-old took part in a training session with the rest of his team and has been included in the squad to face the Turkish side.
Boost
Said Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger: "(Wilshere) is in the squad for tomorrow, whether I start him or not I don't know yet but he is in the squad.
"I have left (Abou) Diaby out as well because he is not completely there yet."
Even though he may not start, Wilshere's inclusion is surely a boost for injury-ridden Arsenal, who are without Aaron Ramsey, Mathieu Debuchy, Nacho Monreal, Diaby, Olivier Giroud and Theo Walcott.
