Jasmine Ser wins gold in 50m 3 positions shooting
Singapore star Jasmine Ser ensured she will return home with a gold medal after she won the 50m 3 positions women’s final at the Commonwealth Games on Tuesday (Wednesday morning, Singapore time) .
In her final event of the Games, the 23-year-old stayed calm to beat home favourite Jen McIntosh, bagging gold with 449.1 points at the Barry Buddon Shooting Centre at Glasgow, Scotland.
McIntosh finished with 446.6 points, ahead of India’s Lajja Gauswami, who claimed the bronze (436.1).
Singapore’s Li Yafei, 20, turned in a credible performance by finishing fifth (411.3).
