Novak Djokovic Makes Ball Boy’s Day
Professional tennis player Novak Djokovic has been known to entertain crowds at tennis matches with his funny and mischievous antics.
This time though, the 27-year-old did something so warm it just melted the hearts of the audience.
During the first-round of the French Open, Djokovic made a ball boy’s day when he asked the young man holding his umbrella to come sit down next to him during a rain delay in the second set. After the boy came around the bench and took a seat, Djokovic grabbed the umbrella, letting the boy hold his racket, instead.
If that moment wasn’t cool enough for the ball boy, the world number 2 player then grabbed a drink and handed it to the young man before clinking bottles and taking a swig.
The two chatted during the short break and Djokovic went on to win the match 6-1, 6-2, 6-4.
