Oscar pips Veerman in play-off
Sweden's Oscar Zetterwall pipped American Johannes Veerman in a play-off to win the US$100,000 ($136,000) Ciputra Golfpreneur Tournament in Jakarta yesterday.
Zetterwall shrugged off Veerman's challenge by sinking a birdie in the first play-off hole to win his second Asian Development Tour title event, following his breakthrough in the Philippines in April. The Swede shot a three-under 69 in regulation play while Veerman fired a 66 at the BSD course in Damai Indah Golf & Country Club, reported asiandevelopmenttour.com.
