Our readers react to Singapore's loss against Malaysia
From the responses on our Facebook wall over the AFF Suzuki Cup news, Singaporeans are still passionate about football.
Especially after Singapore got eliminated from the Cup when they were beaten 3-1 by archrivals Malaysia on Saturday (Nov 29).
On Monday (Dec 1), we posted a story about Singapore coach Bernd Stange taking full responsibility for their poor showing during the tournament and that they weren't good enough.
Our readers' response?
Stange would do well to avoid the comments section because, it has been mostly of scorn directed toward him.

Some readers asked for a local coach to replace Stange.

But the Football Association of Singapore (FAS) president Zainudin Nordin has expressed confidence in the under-fire German.
Meanwhile, we pushed out a story with a poll on Sunday (Nov 30) asking whether or not you felt the penalty call was justified.
Out of 941 votes, 69.4 % of those who voted felt that it was not a penalty.
Quite a fair number of the comments on the wall, however, asked us to move on from the Saturday's disappointing result.

So here's to moving on to better football.
